In a recent event held in the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (SDPFTZ) Qingdao Area, nearly 100 international students and teachers from prestigious Chinese universities gathered for an interactive exchange with companies in the Qingdao FTZ under the theme "Embracing Qingdao, Residing in SDPFTZ".
This Event for International Students Getting Closer to SDPFTZ Qingdao Area aimed to promote job opportunities and entrepreneurial activities to international students studying in Qingdao. It provided a platform for students and teachers to interact and network with local businesses, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation in various fields.
The newly established Qingdao West Coast Immigration Service Center ("Full-Chain Agent" Service Center for International Talent) was officially inaugurated during the event. The center offers services related to residency, work permits, and other necessary documentation for international students and foreign professionals. The initiative demonstrates Qingdao's commitment to providing comprehensive support and assistance to international talent.
The Qingdao FTZ also recognized six enterprises as "Social Practice Bases for International Students" during the event. These companies are expected to provide practical training and internship opportunities for students, allowing them to gain valuable work experience and better understand the local business environment.
Highlighting the city's commitment to attracting global talent, five international talents were awarded high-level talent policy subsidies during the event.
Wang Li, deputy director of the Qingdao FTZ's Management Committee, expressed the committee's dedication to continuously developing talent platforms. It aims to shape the Qingdao FTZ into an attractive destination for innovative and entrepreneurial talent seeking growth opportunities.
