Harbin to hold 45 investment promotion events during ice & snow season

During the 2023-2024 Harbin Ice and Snow Season, the city of Harbin will hold 45 investment promotion events.

These include four high-profile platform events, such as visits by enterprises in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macao to Harbin; a small household appliance enterprises discussion conference between Chinese Electronic Chamber of Commerce entrepreneurs and Russian purchasers, as well as trade associations; and the China Entrepreneurs Forum Harbin Summit.

They also include 11 theme-based investment promotion events, including visits by entrepreneurs from Guangdong, Beijing, and Shanghai to Harbin for field research; and investment matchmaking activities with overseas-funded enterprises from countries like Denmark and Singapore.

In preparation for the investment promotion activities during the Ice and Snow Season, the Harbin municipal enterprise and investment service bureau recently compiled a comprehensive list of investment opportunities in the city.

In the field of technology, it has sorted out 100 science and technology projects that have seen achievements transformed into commercial success as a result of cooperation. These include the industrialization of secure computing chip design and research and development.

Meanwhile, reports on investment potential in the digital economy, bioeconomy, food industry, and equipment manufacturing have also been released.
