The sixth Guangzhou International Urban Innovation Award ceremony will be held on Dec 7, gathering 14 winning cities across China, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Harbin in Heilongjiang province, and Dalian in Liaoning province.

In terms of ecological and environmental governance, cities like Haikou, Xiamen in Fujian province, and Bijie in Guizhou province have shown active exploration and development efforts through measures regarding animal protection, urban water resilience, and river management.
In the field of public welfare, the city of Xianning in Hubei province has presented noteworthy methods to improve urban safety and spatial construction through adolescents. Guangzhou, on the other hand, has innovatively established a comprehensive intelligent neonatal health management system that significantly reduces the risk of neonatal jaundice.
Regarding technological innovations, Harbin's "Patent Navigation" project has empowered corporate innovation and development. At the same time, Dongguan has explored a new social governance model through its "Smart Network Project", which effectively addresses current social governance challenges.
This edition of the Guangzhou Award once again proves that Chinese cities play an active and innovative role in promoting global sustainable development, offering the world inspiring "Chinese solutions."
