Drone competitions ignite young people's flying dreams and spread seeds of scientific innovation in the heart of the young generation in different parts of China.

More than 400 competitors from 24 teams participated in a drone competition with seven races in Harbin, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.

Meanwhile, a drone maze race was held in Xiamen, Fujian province. The race is a part of the artificial intelligence section of youth computer robot competition, which attracted about 1,714 students from over 100 elementary and secondary schools.

The competition can stimulate youths' interests in learning, exploring, mastering and applying modern science and technology, and promote the wide application and deep integration of a new generation of IT with various disciplines, the manager on the spot said.
