NETDA attains national green manufacturing honors

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area has been selected in the 2023 National Green Manufacturing list, as disclosed by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. 

This prestigious acknowledgment extends to one selected enterprise within the area, securing a position in the Green Factory list.

Embracing the ethos of green and sustainable development, the NETDA has been steadfast in implementing carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies. Focused on green intelligent manufacturing and optimizing industrial structures, it is expected to become a robust industrial cluster in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

The NETDA excels in green industrial zone assessments, consistently leading key indicators. Currently, it hosts two national-level green factories, one national-level green products designing factory, and dozens of provincial-level green factories.

Looking ahead, the NETDA remains committed to actively implementing green development principles, reaching carbon peak and achieving carbon neutrality in time. Through comprehensive efforts in infrastructure, management systems, and energy resource inputs, the NETDA aims to continuously level up industrial standards, swiftly establish a resource-efficient, production-clean, and pollution-reduced green manufacturing system.
