The project, being led by Shanghai Dendrite Precision Instruments, involves a total investment of 550 million yuan ($77.06 million) and will cover a site of 50 mu (3.33 hectares).
The company will build a research and development and production plant, as well as headquarters, to produce and develop cutting-edge products in the field of ultra-precision optics.
The main products will be live cell optical scanners, medical endoscopes, lymph node scanning bedside rapid detection equipment and other ultra-precision optical instruments.
The projected annual output value will be at least 1 billion yuan, while the tax revenue will be over 120 million yuan once the project reaches production.
Shanghai Dendrite Precision Instruments Ltd was founded in 2018 with a focus on micro-precision micro-optics. It says it has established the world's only ultra-precision micro-optics system technology, which has helped China compete with foreign counterparts in the field of ultra-precision optics.
