Dora Smart, a Hong Kong-based supply chain equipment manufacturer, decided to build its supply chain equipment headquarters in Suzhou New District, East China's Jiangsu province, local media reported on Nov 21.
The news was released at a signing ceremony between the company and SND.
With a total investment of $210 million, the project is positioned as Dora Smart's headquarters on the Chinese mainland and will include an R&D headquarters, an intelligent assembly center, a sales center, and a supply chain center.
The project is expected to develop and produce intelligent products for industrial use such as transfer robots and automated warehouses and generate 2.5 billion yuan ($351.20 million) in output value per year after being put into operation.
Invested by Sinorobot, Dora Smart has fully leveraged the advantages of supply chain automatic equipment enterprises, including Dorabot, Sinorobot, and WeTech, to create a consortium of supply chain robots.
