Xueyuan residential community in Shanggao sub-district, Tai'an city hosted an activity to popularize scientific knowledge on Nov 18 as part of efforts to stimulate the youth's interest in science, encourage participation in scientific and technological activities, and improve their spirit of innovation and practical ability.
The event, which was held in collaboration with a volunteer service team for science popularization from the Taishan College of Science and Technology, featured various activities, including lectures, learning sessions, exhibitions, and hands-on experiments.
Some of the booths showcased interesting technological experiments, such as electromagnetic cannons, dry ice explosions, solar-powered windmills, simple electric motors, and remote-controlled elevators. Each booth was equipped with a professional guide who helped participants understand the principle and process of the experiments.
