Xin Shaocheng, an artist with China National Academy of Painting, said that Soyolmaa's paintings of birds and flowers vividly reflect the landscape of the vast grasslands in Mongolia and Chang's works present the beauty of Chinese women in different dynasties.
Qin Dailun, curator of the show, said that the joint show is a successful case of cultural cooperation between artists from the two nations. He hopes that in future there will be more cultural exchanges to strengthen the friendship of China and Mongolia.
The show will last through Nov 20, with a series of cultural activities held at the embassy.
