Bayannur city, a neighboring city to Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has maintained exchanges and cooperation with Baotou in the areas of culture, information, and economic trade.
On Nov 9, an economic and trade interaction activity between Baotou and Bayannur, along with the annual meeting of the Baotou Hetao Chamber of Commerce, took place in Baotou.
Participating leaders from Bayannur, primarily from the fields of animal husbandry and industry, aimed to promote high-quality products such as lamb and dairy products through this event.
Zhang Jingyao, executive president of the National Market of Hainan Xiaigou International Holdings Group Co, attended the event and expressed his attention to the cooperation opportunities between Baotou and Bayannur. He believed the close economic and trade cooperation and excellent business environment in both places would yield outstanding results.
The Baotou Hetao Chamber of Commerce invited well-known experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs across China for a roundtable conference during the event to brainstorm ideas for regional collaboration.
Ye Fei, general manager of Inner Mongolia Hamuge Culture Media Co, said, "Baotou has a favorable business environment, and Bayannur has high-quality agricultural products. The platform built by the chamber has great potential to develop the two cities."
The chamber was established on May 19, 2006, and is a non-profit, joint social organization formed voluntarily by business people mainly from Bayannur. It currently has more than 100 member companies across various fields, including construction, law, and catering.
