The Zhangbi Ancient Castle scenic area in Jiexiu, North China's Shanxi province, recently showcased nearly 100 pieces of glaze art and cultural products at the Louvre Museum in Paris, attracting global attention.

From Nov 2 to 5, the International Heritage Fair was held at the famous art treasure house in Paris. The Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) glaze artwork "Xiezhi" from the Jiexiu Museum made its appearance at the fair, attracting foreign visitors to take pictures.

A variety of unique glaze art pieces with dazzling designs captivated numerous international handicraft enthusiasts and practitioners who stopped to admire them. Visitors came in a constant stream to observe and purchase cultural creative products such as mortise and tenon blocks, and bookmarks.

The fair has allowed Jiexiu's thousand-year-old glaze craftsmanship to go global and showcase China's fascinating intangible cultural heritage to the world.
