2023 Guizhou Internet Conference to be held in Guiyang

The 2023 Guizhou Internet Conference will be held on Nov 16 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

It will be the first comprehensive internet industry conference held in Guizhou, and is quite large, authoritative and influential. Technological information will be showcased and exchanged among internet enterprises in Guizhou.

During the conference, awards and certificates will be presented for the "2022 top 20 internet enterprises in Guizhou" and the "2023 internet-assisted socioeconomic cases".

There will also be a cybersecurity emergency drill and a special achievement exhibition area showcasing the results of artificial intelligence and the digital transformation in enterprises.

Renowned experts and scholars in the industry will be invited to deliver keynote speeches on topics such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

In recent years, Guizhou has enhanced its communication network capabilities and achieved new breakthroughs, especially in the construction of new infrastructure for technology like 5G.

As of the end of 2022, the number of mobile base stations in Guizhou had reached 329,000, an increase of 28,000 compared to the end of 2021, with a growth rate of 9.3 percent. The province now has a total of 84,000 5G base stations.

Guizhou's information infrastructure ranks second nationally, and the widespread development and application of big data has played a significant role in economic development, social governance, public services, and other areas.
