Huangpu makes strong progress on key project

The Huangpu district of Guangzhou is actively advancing the construction of a series of key projects, including the Greater Bay Area Specialized and New Industry Park, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and has an anticipated annual output value of 4.8 billion yuan ($659 million). 

This park is set to become a hub for smart and advanced manufacturing industries, with a focus on the core automotive component companies.

In addition, the Guangzhou Huangpu Yinhai Eye Hospital has officially opened in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. It is dedicated to the integrated treatment of ophthalmology combining Chinese and Western medicine as well as providing better eye health management services. 

Florence Group plans to invest in the ophthalmology and optometry industry in the Knowledge City to serve patients in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and across the country.

The strategic planning of the district aims to create an optical industry cluster centered around the Florence Industrial Park, bringing together first-class eye health research platforms and medical institutions.

Moreover, the innovation- and research-oriented International Hospital project in Guangzhou has been successfully bid on by the South China Division of the China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corporation. 

This key project is intended to establish an internationally standardized research-grade tertiary general hospital, focusing on clinical research and multi-center clinical trials globally.

The construction and inauguration of these projects are set to further promote industrial upgrading and innovative development in fields such as smart manufacturing and healthcare in Guangzhou.
