A promotional event for the forthcoming second Global Digital Trade Expo was held during the Zhejiang special session at the 6th China International Import Expo in Shanghai on Nov 6.
The digital expo, scheduled to be held from Nov 23 to 27, will invite global businesses to partake in the emerging opportunities brought about by digital trade.
The second edition covers an area of 100,000 square meters and includes four key segments - conferences, exhibitions, platforms, and activities.
The conference section features the opening ceremony, a main forum, and four forums, attracting industry leaders, academicians, and international dignitaries for interactive sessions.
The exhibition section includes seven pavilions, spanning everything from advanced trends and Silk Road e-commerce to digital technology, services, content, and smart commuting. The platform section, centered around a Cloud-based Digital Trade Expo, will provide a live, ongoing showcase of the expo's activities and outcomes. The activity zone will create a space for matchmaking between exhibitors and purchasers.
The event will unveil significant milestones in digital trade, witness the signing of major digital trade projects, and launch China's Digital Trade Port, Global Digital Trade Expo Digital Trade Alliance, and Digital Trade Think Tank. It will also introduce a section dedicated to showcasing more than 100 new technologies, products, services, and scenarios in digital trade.
