HK PolyU unveils a research institute in Wuxi

The PolyU-Wuxi Technology and Innovation Research Institute of Hong Kong Polytechnic University was put into use in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 2.

The institute will build a center dedicated to the bringing-to-market of its research results and a scientific research and innovation base in Wuxi. It will also cultivate high-end technological talent holding a doctorate in engineering and leading technological enterprises for the city.

On the same day, the institute signed cooperation agreements with 10 local high-tech enterprises to offer them technological services by relying on PolyU's experts and innovation platforms.

PolyU is a leading university and one of the best universities in HK with world-class research in multiple disciplines making bold groundbreaking advances.

In February, PolyU decided to establish a digital technology application innovation center and a Wuxi liaison office for its Shanghai alumni association.
