The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai on Nov 5. A total of 376 units, including 335 enterprises, and 1,268 professional buyers from Quzhou registered for the event.
Thirteen enterprises will attend the sub-forum of the Hongqiao International Economic Forum on digital governance and industry development.
"The CIIE is a great opportunity for enterprises to choose high-quality supply chains," said an official of the Quzhou commerce bureau.
The CIIE will also feature an exhibition of intangible cultural heritage and time-honored projects. Three companies from Quzhou will participate, including Zhejiang Longyou Chengang Xuan Paper Co Ltd, which has participated in the CIIE for the past five sessions.
As part of the CIIE sub-activities, Quzhou invited a Thailand business economic and trade delegation to visit Quzhou from Oct 17 to 19. They held a symposium and visited key enterprises on Quzhou's six iconic industrial chains.
Meanwhile, the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Thailand promised to provide comprehensive services for Quzhou enterprises' investment projects in Thailand and help Quzhou enhance its open economy.
