2nd China postdoctoral competition grand finals held in Yantai

The second China Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Grand Finals kicked off in Yantai city, Shandong province on Oct 28.

The event was attended by renowned academicians and experts from various fields.

A total of 6,206 postdoctoral teams comprising 25,000 participants from around the world registered for this year's competition, with 1,457 teams making it to the grand finals.

Fifty-five gold awards, 109 silver awards, and 164 bronze awards were given out at the finals.

The finals also featured talent recruitment and networking activities, as well as exhibitions showcasing postdoctoral innovation and entrepreneurship achievements. These exhibitions attracted 232 exhibitors from all over the country.

Furthermore, 766 companies and 40 renowned national venture capital institutions engaged in negotiations that led to the signing of 80 projects.

A total of 234 companies participated in on-site talent recruitment and provided over 1,100 job opportunities.
