WND adds new beauty, healthcare industrial park

The Taihu Bay Beauty and Health Industry Eco-Conference and the opening ceremony of the Wuxi Beauty and Healthcare Industrial Park were held in Wuxi New District on Oct 27.

The industrial park is a joint initiative by the district and Jiangnan University. It has a primary focus on synthetic biology and will specialize in the fields of medical aesthetics and cosmetics. As part of the park's inception, 12 corporate headquarters and enterprises have established a presence in the park. Fifteen business partners and investment organizations also signed cooperation agreements with the park.

At the event, the Jiangnan Meiwan Research Institute and the headquarters project of Dexter forged partnerships with WND. The Jiangnan Meiwan Research Institute, led by a professional team from Jiangnan University, functions as an all-in-one public service platform for cosmetics and involves businesses such as raw material innovation and formula development.

Dexter is a leading brand in mother and baby care products in China. The company achieved sales exceeding 1 billion yuan ($136.6 million) in 2022.

The conference also featured five key sub-forums on themes such as cutting-edge innovation in Chinese cosmetics, brand innovation, Chinese medical beauty apparatus, cosmetic industry trends and investment, and cosmetics research and development trends.
