Li Bai (701-62) is renowned as the “Poetic Immortal” in China, a title bestowed upon him for his exceptional contributions to poetry. He sojourned in southern Anhui for more than a decade and created over 180 poems there. An ongoing exhibition at the Ma’anshan Museum traces his footprints in southern Anhui and elucidates the affinity between Li Bai and that area, with more than 140 Tang Dynasty (618-907) cultural relics and contemporary artworks.
