Chrysanthemum exhibition, a must-visit destination in Jinan in autumn

The 44th Baotu Spring Chrysanthemum Exhibition took place on Oct 20 inside the World's Best Spring Scenic Area in Jinan. It will run until Nov 19.

The exhibition is showcasing 11 creatively designed chrysanthemum sculptures and small landscapes, featuring over 500 varieties of this hugely popular flowering plant and more than 60,000 gorgeous potted flowers.

The exhibition is divided into three main areas for displaying special varieties, boutique chrysanthemums, and chrysanthemum scenes, each with its own unique characteristics.

The first area highlights the works of chrysanthemum expert Bian Suojun, who specializes in cultivating the flower.

The boutique chrysanthemum exhibition area comprises 10 exhibition zones, showcasing the works of local experts in Jinan. It includes traditional tea-flavored chrysanthemums in a variety of types and colors.

The chrysanthemum scene exhibition area mainly focuses on small chrysanthemum landscapes.

In addition to flower-admiring activities, there are also cultural activities such as chrysanthemum competitions, flower arranging shows, and autumn art exhibitions.

The chrysanthemum exhibition at Baotu Spring Park not only showcases unique and intricate flower arrangements but also takes advantage of the park's distinctive spring water.

Visitors are impressed by the pleasing spectacle of crystal-clear water, graceful chrysanthemums, and playful koi fish.
