Guiyang and Guian sign agreements at 10th Guizhou Entrepreneurs Conference

The 2023 Leading Chinese Private Enterprise Conference for Bolstering Guizhou's High-quality Development and the 10th Guizhou Entrepreneurs Conference opened in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 8.

During the conference, a signing ceremony for investment projects was held, with a total of 30 important investment agreements signed on the spot, with a total contract value of 39.2 billion yuan.

Among them, Guiyang City and Guian New Area signed agreements for six projects with a total contract value of 11.54 billion yuan, accounting for 29.44 percent of the total contract value and ranking first in the province.

The conference was supported by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and hosted by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, and aims to pool the strength of outstanding private enterprises nationwide and the global Guizhou entrepreneur community to support Guizhou's modernization.

The projects signed on-site by Guiyang and Guian include the development project of the Sanma area in Yunyan district, the southwest safe and smart power equipment production project in Guian, the Huakong Qingzhen copper-based new material project in Guiyang, the Taizhou manufacturing industrial park project in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, the CRVC national RV tourism operation center project in Nanming district, and the Ruiao (headquarters) education equipment manufacturing project in Huaxi district.

In addition, 600 key investment promotion projects in Guizhou were announced at the conference and compiled into the " 2023 index of industrial investment promotion projects in Guizhou province," with a total planned investment scale of 329.8 billion yuan.
