The four-day 2023 Xi'an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Show came to a conclusion on Oct 29 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
The event, with the slogan "innovation linking the future, integration realizing dreams", attracted renowned experts and scholars from the UAV industry, as well as over 300 related research, production, and application units.
At the opening ceremony, commercial transport UAVs, weather modification UAVs, emergency rescue firefighting UAVs, and UAV drones, along with their accompanying products, made appearances, showcasing Xi'an's latest research achievements in the field of UAVs.
In addition, some organizations engaged in in-depth discussions on UAV development, production, technology transfer, and financial support, with a total of over 1.8 billion yuan ($218.9 million) of contracts signed.
The event also featured a 5,000-square-meter exhibition hall that displayed the latest technological achievements in complete UAV systems, components, and advanced materials.
Xi'an currently has more than 300 UAV companies, with an output value exceeding 5 billion yuan.
The city has formed a UAV industrial system that incorporates basic research, R&D design, production, flight testing, industry applications, product sales, and talent training.
Xi'an has already become an important research and production base for UAVs in China, boasting leading UAV technologies.
