The lawn bowls event of the 4th Asian Para Games took place on Oct 25 at Hangzhou Wenhui School. Quzhou athletes Weng Feibiao and Chen Guoqiang clinched gold and bronze in the men's B1 group singles, Zhu Xiali nabbed gold in the women's B2 group singles, and Xu Yonggang secured silver in the men's B6 group singles.
The Chinese lawn bowls team completed the singles task with four golds, two silvers and two bronzes. Quzhou athletes secured a total of three golds, two silvers and one bronze in the event.

Weng Feibiao, a former blind massage therapist, said he was thrilled to bring glory to China. He thanked his coaches, teammates, family, and the disabled federations for their support and help. He also said that lawn bowls changed his life, making him happier, stronger, and more sociable.

Zhu Xiali, who joined the Quzhou Disabled Lawn Bowls Team in April 2021, expressed her joy at winning the gold medal. She said that she learned a lot from the competition and felt rewarded for her hard work and dedication in training.
Coach Liu Yuanying praised the team members for their perseverance and improvement in both skill and mentality. He said that they trained year-round, even in high temperatures, and never complained.
