Quzhou's GDP up 7.7% in Q1-3

Quzhou's gross domestic product totaled 153.16 billion yuan ($21.02 billion) in the first three quarters of this year, a year-on-year increase of 7.7 percent.

The added values of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries were 6.16 billion yuan, 65.55 billion yuan and 81.44 billion yuan, respectively, up 4.6 percent, 8.3 percent, and 7.4 percent.

The added value of the city’s industrial enterprises above designated size reached 45.95 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2 percent. Among the 34 industrial categories, 21 saw positive growth in added value.

Total retail sales of consumer goods in the city amounted to 66.69 billion yuan, an uptick of 8.3 percent. Retail sales of communications equipment, new energy vehicles, and gold, silver and jewelry grew by 70.3 percent, 67.8 percent and 26.8 percent, respectively.

The city's imports and exports were valued at 51.15 billion yuan, a rise of 17.4 percent. Exports were valued at 33.04 billion yuan, up 10.6 percent year-on-year, while imports were valued at 19.11 billion yuan, up 31.2 percent year-on-year.

The city's general public budget revenue was 17.43 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.9 percent. Tax revenue reached 12.75 billion yuan, increasing 16.5 percent.

Expenditure in the general public budget reached 45.33 billion yuan, up 7 percent year-on-year. A total of 32.25 billion yuan was spent on people's livelihoods, an increase of 8.9 percent and accounting for 71.2 percent of the total expenditure.

During this period, the per capita disposable income of urban residents in the city was 47,110 yuan, an increase of 5.6 percent, while that of rural residents was 26,245 yuan, an increase of 7.3 percent. The per capita income ratio of urban and rural residents was 1.79, down 0.02 year-on-year.
