Pingyao beef and polished lacquerware, known as the "Intangible cultural heritage double treasures" of Pingyao county, are making an appearance at the ongoing 6th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province.
The county's exhibition hall, featuring gray and red as its main colors, highlights elements from the Ancient City of Pingyao. Over 300 specialty products from nearly 20 Pingyao-based enterprises are being showcased.
By participating in the fair, Pingyao is further promoting and showcasing its distinctive products, enhancing the recognition and influence of Pingyao beef and Pingyao polished lacquerware in the process.

During the fair, Pingyao Beef Group signed a sales project for Pingyao beef with Meetall Agricultural Product Distribution Logistics Co from Qingxu county, while Baojuyuan Meat Products Co inked an agreement on the joint development of a food science and technology testing center with Jinzhong Vocational and Technical College.
Since the beginning of this year, Pingyao has been promoting the high-quality development of Pingyao beef and Pingyao polished lacquerware. Currently, there are 50 beef production and operation companies and individual businesses with over 2,000 employees in the county, as well as 160 lacquerware production and operation businesses with more than 5,600 employees.
