A conference aimed at promoting the sales of products from Inner Mongolia autonomous region in Beijing was held in the Chinese capital on Oct 17.
The event saw products showcased from 45 enterprises in the region’s Ordos city. They covered 330 unique categories.
The Ordos exhibition pavilion was bustling with visitors during the event.
Exhibitors not only introduced the nutritional value and special features of their high-quality green agricultural and livestock products from Ordos to visitors and representatives from companies, but also set up a stove to cook delicious grassland food on site.
The star products making some head-turning appearances included Albas mutton from Otog Banner, grain oils from Dalad Banner, white shrimps from Hanggin Banner, almond dew from Juungar Banner, rice from Uxin Banner, and cashmere products from Dongsheng district.
They also attracted many Beijing residents to taste and purchase them for consumption at home.
During the event, Ordos enterprises signed purchase agreements worth 100 million yuan with enterprises in Beijing. Most of the projects centered around beef jerky, dairy products, and cold chain food procurement.
