The 134th Canton Fair, China's largest trade fair, saw more than 100 Quzhou firms showcase their products and services.
The Quzhou enterprises demonstrated their enthusiasm and confidence in expanding their markets and seizing opportunities at the Canton Fair.
Zhejiang Mair Tools Co Ltd received more than 80 business cards in the first two days, far more than in the previous exhibition. The exhibitors also noticed that this year's exhibition received more customers from Russia, Arabia and Latin America. Some customers came with orders and had strong cooperation intentions, said Lyu Rongjun, the person in charge of the company.
"Yesterday, a European customer placed an order directly, worth 14,000 yuan ($1,921.74)," said Xu Chengcheng of Zhejiang Lianhe Fire Technology Co Ltd on Oct 17. He added that he felt the positive trend of foreign trade at this Canton Fair.
Quzhou Senkai Technology Co Ltd, a first-time exhibitor, collected more than 400 business cards in two days, with an intended turnover of nearly $900,000.
Zhejiang Yiyang Tools Manufacturing Co Ltd arranged factory visits for some customers who were interested in their products. The first batch of customers will visit the factory on Oct 22, and large customers will come to Quzhou on Oct 25. The company received on-site intended orders valued at $800,000.
