Yuxian Street in Yangzhou, East China's Jiangsu province boasts a rich local history and culture.

The street, which measures 200 meters in length and two meters in width, is home to the former residence of Ruan Yuan (1764-1849), a top official and prominent scholar in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The street showcases Ruan's family customs and academic atmosphere revolving around diligence and integrity.
