Yutong dazzles judges to take home prizes from Busworld Europe 2023

Yutong's T15E electric bus has taken home two Busworld Europe awards at the biennial trade show held in Brussels, Belgium.

The model, winner of the Label of Design Excellence and the Label of Ecological Excellence, is the only electric highway bus to receive an award at the exhibition that ran from Oct 7 to 12.

This year, Busworld Europe attracted 526 exhibitors from manufacturers in Europe, Asia and Africa.

The T15E model, a luxurious 15-meter-long battery powered tourist bus, has excellent performance in terms of energy consumption, thanks to its lightweight design and energy-saving technology.

It was one of the four buses Yutong displayed at the event. The other three were the U11DD double-decker sightseeing bus, the 18-meter-long large-capacity U18 and the E7S mini electric bus.

Yutong also showcased its newest technological platform, called YEA, which is designed to provide robust and scalable solutions for electric vehicles.

Auto components, including batteries, motors and smart cockpits, were also displayed at the bus maker's booth.
