The photographic exhibition for the 14th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) opened at the Zhuhai Space Center in Jinwan on Oct 10.
A total of 120 artistic works, which were selected out of more than 15,000 entries, are currently being exhibited to fully demonstrate the achievements of China's aerospace and national defense industry. They also highlight Zhuhai's unique charm as a city of youth and vigor.
Photographers continue to contribute to China's aerospace industry in the way of images that show the world a credible and respectable image of China, said Zheng Gengsheng, vice-chairman of the China Photographers Association.
Zheng also expressed hopes that Chinese photographers will continue to tell the story of China's aerospace industry in a more passionate, vivid, and intuitive way. He hopes that more photographers will use Airshow China as a platform to create art and make the event Zhuhai's "the most beautiful calling card."

Zhou Hua, a member of the leading Party group of the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, said that the 14th Airshow China brought a shocking visual feast to aviation fans, and attracted photographers from all over the country to gather in Zhuhai. She hoped that photographers would take this exhibition as an opportunity to tell the stories of Guangdong, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and China.
Photographers are encouraged to capture stunning shots of not only Airshow China, but also of Zhuhai and its development, noted Tan Jing, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee.
It is hoped that Zhuhai and all parties will engage in more profound and extensive cooperation, aiming to establish Zhuhai as a culturally robust city, while jointly promoting the prosperity and development of China's cultural undertakings, as stated by Tan.
Furthermore, a seminar focusing on the innovation and development of China's aerospace photography was conducted on that same day. Hot topics like policies regarding aerospace photography, the construction of observation platforms at civil airports, and the social significance of aerospace photography were discussed.
