Zibo city in East China's Shandong province witnessed a surge in tourism activity during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, with some scenic spots receiving record crowds.
According to the Zibo bureau of culture and tourism, key cultural and exhibition venues in the city received 370,700 visitors during the holiday period. In addition, 784 cultural activities were organized.
This resulted in a significant increase in the number of visitors and revenue, as well as a notable enhancement in the city's influence of the city's cultural and tourism brand.
During the holiday, libraries and cultural centers in Zibo organized 784 cultural activities that attracted 281,000 participants. Among them, the Zibo Ceramic and Glass Museum received 151,300 visitors and had a record daily crowd of 23,600 people.
The Qi Culture Museum received 84,700 visitors, with the highest daily visitor count reaching 14,300.
