The World Brand Laboratory recently announced the 2023 list of "Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands" during the Asia Brand Summit.
"Erdos", a native clothing brand from the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, made the list again, climbing three spots from last year to 268th.
The "Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands" list is curated by the World Brand Lab, which assesses Asian brands based on their market share, brand loyalty, and leadership in Asia.
Its panel of experts hails from renowned universities such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford, and Cambridge.
The findings of the World Brand Lab have become a critical reference during the process of evaluating intangible assets in mergers and acquisitions for numerous businesses.
In 2023, the World Brand Lab rated over 2,000 well-known Asian brands, and a total of 500 brands from 20 different countries and regions made the "Asia's 500 Most Influential Brands" list.
According to the report of "China's 500 Most Valuable Brands," the value of the "Erdos" brand has reached 156.57 billion yuan ($21.45 billion), holding the number one spot in the textile and clothing industry for the 17th year in a row.
