According to the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, more than 1,000 tourism activities and hundreds of fun measures are to be launched in Fujian province for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday.
The tourism activities include exhibitions, drama performances, handicrafts and other intangible cultural heritage activities and more. Adding to that are measures to boost the fun of folks - like the issuing of cultural tourism spending coupons and discount tickets.
Additionally, the routes of "Refreshing Fujian" tourist trains will pass through 11 provinces and cities that are the major tourist source markets of Fujian - and 10 great tourism routes are being launched to promote cultural tourism spending.
With the theme of "Enjoy Your Vacation in the Blessed City", Fuzhou city in the province plans to hold a series of activities that focus on hot topics - such as admiring the moon, coastal tourism, the countryside and hot springs.
Based on the original tourism products, the focus of Xiamen city will be on a series of "intangible cultural heritage folklore" and "rural delicacy" tours.
More than 300 online and offline various travel activities will be held in Xiamen during the holiday.
In Quanzhou, 22 World Heritage Sites will welcome tourists with free experiences and great presents. In addition, ranked among China's top 10 cities for food tourism, Quanzhou will provide mouth-watering food that won't disappoint.
Elsewhere, as a well-known Hakka homeland, Longyan city in Fujian will warmly welcome Hakka people and Taiwanese compatriots at home and abroad to go there for sightseeing, visiting their ancestors and strengthening their bonds with each other.
