A ceremony celebrating the sixth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, which falls on Sunday, was topped off on Tuesday with a 1,200-drone light show by the Jiansanjiang Co, a subsidiary of the State-owned Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group in Heilongjiang province.
In the grand finale, drones flew over the night sky and formed a series of images and Chinese characters to present the joy of the autumn harvest.
Beidahuang is the name used to designate the fertile region, including the Sanjiang Plain along the Heilong and Nenjiang rivers in northern Heilongjiang.
In recent years, the group has been working on research and development of its intelligent agricultural services.
Last year, the group saw a grain harvest of 22.56 million metric tons. It has a high degree of modernization.
