Meicun sub-district in Wuxi's Xinwu district recently saw two of its cultural traditions, Meili lamb culinary skills and the Qian family's traditional brewing techniques, included in Jiangsu province's fifth list of representative intangible cultural heritages.
This brings the total count of such provincial-level heritages from Meicun to four. The other two recognized ones are Erhu (a traditional two-stringed instrument) artistry and fried gluten puffs.
