Guangzhou event celebrates cultural exchange

On Sept 16, the first "Discovering the Flavors of Guangzhou" international cultural exchange event took place in Qifu New Estate Block of Guangzhou's Panyu district.

This event was orchestrated by the foreign affairs office of the people's government of Guangzhou municipality in collaboration with the Panyu district people's government office and the Zhongcun Street office. It drew in over 100 local and international residents to participate.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Lingnan culture, with activities covering tea and incense ceremonies, as well as the preparation and tasting of ginger milk pudding, a regional delicacy. 

This initiative aims to enhance cultural exchanges between local and international residents. This will foster the development of internationalized neighborhoods and showcase Guangzhou’s multicultural and inclusive atmosphere.

Looking forward, Guangzhou is committed to creating a series of international neighborhoods, underlining its dedication to fostering vibrant and harmonious communities throughout the city.
