Hanshi Art Museum opened on Sept 16 in Pingyao county, North China's Shanxi province.
Professor Hanshi, who has been appointed as a visiting professor by more than 30 universities, is a well-known cultural figure who hails from Pingyao.
Over the past few decades, he has published over 100 monographs, and held more than 50 exhibitions in China and other countries. He is actively involved in philanthropy, having conducted over 160 public lectures on art education and sponsored schools in more than 10 impoverished areas across the country.

The art museum exhibits his diverse collections, divided into three sections.
The first showcases his calligraphy, paintings, published works, and images from earlier exhibitions. The second displays the published and unpublished works, as well as featuring a chronology of his mentor Rao Zongyi. The third section houses a variety of stationery items collected by Prof Hanshi.

The museum strives to incorporate new technological methods to bridge the gap between physical and online art galleries, enabling the general public to conveniently appreciate cultural art while also promoting the healthy development of Pingyao's cultural tourism.
The art museum serves as a platform for cultural art exchange, a center for education and training, and a window to promote and advertise Pingyao's cultural tourism.
