Harbin Taiping International Airport in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, has announced that starting from Sept 12, Aurora Airlines will increase the frequency of flights between Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia and Harbin from once to twice a week, operating on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The flight number for the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Harbin route is HZ4698/9. The plane will depart from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 6:00 am (Beijing time) on Tuesdays, arriving in Harbin at 8:55 am. The return flight will depart from Harbin at 10:05 am and arrive in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 12:40 pm.
On Fridays, the flight will depart from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 1:05 pm, arriving in Harbin at 4:00 pm. The return flight will depart from Harbin at 5:00 pm and arrive in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at 7:35 pm.
Currently, Harbin airport operates five international routes to Russia, including flights to Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Yakutsk, and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The total number of weekly flights to Russia is 40.
