Huangshan University is a major force in academic influence in Anhui province.

It has 16 premium colleges and a curriculum consisting of 65 undergraduate majors, including eight disciplines such as technology, management and literature.

Tourism management, environmental science and Huizhou cultural research are its three major disciplines.

At present, Huangshan University boasts two campuses within the city, covering some 118 hectares, with a current enrollment of 18,000 full-time undergraduates.

The initial employment rate and final employment rate of graduates remained stable at 91 percent and 95 percent, respectively. It has been rated as an advanced unit for employment for college graduates in Anhui province five times and is has also been rated a model unit for employment for graduates in the region for the last three years.
