SND elements found in Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia, opened to traffic in Indonesia on Sept 7, shortening the travel time between Jakarta and Bandung from 3.5 hours to 40 minutes.

Suzhou Huaqi Intelligent Technology Co in Suzhou New District, East China's Jiangsu province, participated in the project with its self-developed passenger information system.

The passenger information system in the trains operating on the railway offers passenger information, monitoring, entertainment, and broadcasting, and also displays information including emergency alarms in both Indonesian and English.

Han Lijin, sales director of Huaqi in East China, said that the system is based on the platform used by the Fuxing bullet train and so Chinese passengers will feel a bit familiar with the high-speed train whenever they board it.

Huaqi's businesses have expanded to 14 countries and regions. It also took part in the construction of subway lines in Mumbai and Pune, India, and high-speed trains in United Arab Emirates.

Many other SND's enterprises can also be found in important traffic projects. For example, Easyway (Suzhou) Electronic Tech Co supported the safe operation of the China-Laos Railway with safety ropes and subway line 14 in Shenzhen uses doors designed by AFC Technology Co.
