A signing ceremony for 30 major projects took place at the Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on Sept 7.
These high-tech and industrial projects consist of 27 investment projects and three technology cooperation projects, with a total investment of 51.41 billion yuan ($7.05 billion). They involve such industries as new energy, high-end manufacturing, and energy conservation and environmental protection.
Their introduction will optimize and strengthen the energy industry in Shanxi and accelerate the adoption of energy reform in the province.
The Shanxi Investment Promotion Bureau extended an invitation for more entrepreneurs from outside the province to strengthen their communication and interaction with Shanxi, and share in the province's prosperity and development.
Companies present at the ceremony stated that they would focus on key areas of development, further expand exchanges and cooperation with Shanxi, increase investment and business in the province, and guide and drive more outstanding enterprises and talents to innovate and start businesses in Shanxi.
