The ongoing 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province has attracted a large number of attendees, exhibitors, and visitors who are fascinated by various new high-tech products and cutting-edge technologies.
The three-day expo kicked off on Wednesday with the theme of "Empowering Various Businesses with Industrial Internet, Leading High-Quality Development with Digital Economy".
It's co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Hebei.
During the opening ceremony, a digital host, created by Chinese artificial intelligence company iFlytek Co, captivated audiences with its expressive presentation skills.
Furthermore, the company's large language model AI SparkDesk garnered great attention at an exhibition area. LLMs are platforms or applications that use statistical models to analyze vast amounts of data, learning the patterns and connections between words and phrases in order to generate new content.
Via the model, visitors gained insights into the latest applied achievements of AI technology in various fields such as education, healthcare, law and consumer trends.
At another space in the exhibition area, there were long queues in front of the Tesla booth, creating a bustling crowd.
This was because automaker Tesla, making its first appearance at the expo, brought a newly released car model to go along with details of its diversified achievements in the energy field and its impressive humanoid robot called Tesla Bot.
In addition to the exhibitions, other events will be held during the expo, such as competitions between robots and a series of parallel forums and releasing activities for innovation achievements.
