The International Friendship City Exchange & Cooperation Dialogue of the 2023 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum saw eight cooperative agreements inked on Sept 6 in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province.
The event invited representatives from international friendly cities with Shanxi, foreign local governments, international organizations and other partners that have friendly ties with the province, institutions, and companies with intentions to cooperate with Shanxi.
Meanwhile, the Shanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Thai-Chinese Relations Association signed a memorandum of cooperation. The Shanxi Department of Education and Uruguay's Canelones Department signed a memorandum on educational exchange and cooperation. Huayuan International Land Port Cross-Border E-commerce Co and Thailand National Goods Group signed a letter of intent to cooperate on overseas warehouses.
Furthermore, Xiaxian county and Nong khai in Thailand signed a pact to develop friendly city relations, as did Yangquan city and Argentina's San José de los Cerrillos, Shouyang county and Argentina's General Juan Madariaga, Qinxian county and Italy's Marmirolo, and Gaoping and Italy's Villimpenta.
The signing of these pacts aimed at forging cooperative relations paves the way for all parties to join hands in promoting Taiyuan's development.
