Great Wall Motor, China's largest SUV and pickup truck maker, sold 114,100 vehicles in August, up 29.32 percent year-on-year.
The company, headquartered in Baoding, Hebei province, released the statistics on Tuesday.
All of its five marques including Haval and Wey saw their deliveries rise last month, said the carmaker.
Haval seized the lion's share of the sales in August, with its deliveries in the month totaling 66,523 units, up 31.99 percent year-on-year.
The carmaker's total sales from January to August totaled 742,400 units, up 4.76 percent year-on-year.
Great Wall Motor saw its overseas sales reaching a record high as well last month.
A total of 30741 vehicles were sold outside of China in August, soaring 99.95 percent year-on-year.
August marked the sixth consecutive month GWM's overseas sales had exceeded 20,000 units.
Its overseas sales from January to August totaled 181,678 units, up 95.55 percent year-on-year.
