Over 30 expats from countries including Jordan, Thailand, the Philippines were invited to take part in a Tai'an tour on Sept 4, visiting the magnificent Mount Tai, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site.
The expats got to know the culture of Mount Tai and the development of Tai'an tourism while hiking on the mountain. They were impressed by the folk culture and local delicacies of Tai'an.
At the "Five Sacred Mountains" stone carving site, the expats held the 5 yuan ($0.69) notes with Mount Tai as the main element, taking pictures.
As an essential part of the 37th International Mount Tai Climbing Festival, which took place on Sept 5, the Tai'an tour helped improve Tai'an's fame worldwide.
