In recent years, Ordos city has been building a "1+N" plan for its intelligent connected vehicle industry centered around the Kangbashi New Energy Intelligent Connected Vehicle Demonstration Zone. This is supported by a diverse range of application scenarios, with a focus on cultivating new economic forms.
Kangbashi has opened 355.75 kilometers of testing roads to date. Phase I of this new energy vehicle project covers 31 kilometers, with a total investment of 130 million yuan ($18.53 million).
It has seen the complete transformation of 26 intelligent intersections, and the installation of collaborative holographic perception roadside devices. Some 25 autonomous vehicles have been deployed, and a city-wide cloud control infrastructure platform and a cloud control application platform were built.
A demonstration area for intelligent connected transportation featuring collaborative control and decision-making perception has also been established.
