China Eastern Airlines officially resumed its international route from Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, with three flights per week using A330 wide-body aircraft on Aug 30.

This is the sixth international route that China Eastern Airlines has resumed in Shaanxi since 2023.

On the day, ground staff members from China Eastern Airlines provided services such as transfer assistance, boarding guidance, assistance with procedures, and fast security checks for international students in transit and first-time travelers on the Xi'an-Dubai route.

Travelers can enjoy flexible options for their itinerary planning with outbound flights from Xi'an. On Wednesdays and Sundays, flight MU705 departs at 3:05 pm and arrives in Dubai at 8:15 pm. For those planning to fly on a Friday, the flight departs at 3:40 pm and arrives at 9:05 pm.

The return flight from Dubai to Xi'an is designated as flight number MU706 and departs every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Travelers looking to fly from Dubai to Xi'an can choose from two flight options. The first option departs every Wednesday and Saturday at 11 pm, arriving at 11:25 am the following day. The second option departs every Saturday at 12:05 am, arriving at 12:20 pm.

Dubai, as the largest city in the UAE, is a popular tourist and business destination not only in the Middle East but globally as well. Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports can enjoy a visa-free stay of 30 days upon entry.

The Xi'an-Dubai route will provide a more convenient air passage between the two cities, extensively promoting cooperation in trade, culture, tourism, and other fields. It will also enrich Xi'an's international flight network and accelerate the construction of Xi'an as an international aviation hub.

Currently, China Eastern Airlines operates approximately 80 aircraft daily for the Xi'an market, with about 320 inbound and outbound flights providing over 50,000 seats per day.
