Scenes of white clouds floating around mountains and forests appeared in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area of Zhangjiajie in Hunan province recently.
Wulingyuan is on UNESCO's World Natural Heritage List, and is one of the first world geoparks in China. It is home to more than 3,000 unique pillar-like formations and mountains that seem to float in the air.
It also served as the model for scenes of floating mountains in the Hollywood blockbuster film Avatar.
