The 14th Northeast Asia Expo opened yesterday in Changchun, the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, with the Jilin Pavilion showcasing various local highlights.
One standout attraction is the Linjiang snow series porcelain products, which has become a major force in empowering rural tourism integrated with local culture. These pieces of porcelain were created by three local artists – Wei Hongsheng, Qu Zhan, and Wang Jingang.
The coffee culture area in the Yanbian exhibition area has also proven a huge hit. Within just two hours, its specialty Apple Pear Coffee attracted thousands of visitors to taste it.
Apple pears are a local specialty of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, and the exhibition combines this local produce with coffee culture, aiming to introduce more people to Yanbian through their love of coffee while promoting the area's unique products nationwide and even on a global level. The fusion of local specialties and international trends provides visitors with an extraordinary tasting experience while revealing the distinct charms of Yanbian.
In the months of January and February this year, Yanji city in Yanbian ranked first on the national list of coffee consumption among county-level cities.
The CNEA Expo is the world's only national-level comprehensive exposition involving the participation of six Northeast Asian countries. It serves as a platform for countries in the region to build a consensus and boost their commerce and trade.
It also provides an excellent platform for businesses to present their cutting-edge technologies and products. Its overriding goals are to strengthen regional cooperation and explore new opportunities for economic growth in Northeast Asia.
