The largest artificial intelligence (AI) art exhibition in Central China opened in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), on Aug 19.
A total of 110 artistic and industrial works created with the assistance of AI tools were showcased, with a total exhibition area of 2,000 square meters.

Professional guests from more than 70 universities across the country were invited to the exhibition, which will be open to the public for free every day from 2:30 pm until Sept 1, when it will launch new works and be held on a regular basis.
The show combines AI-generated art techniques with digital art to create images, videos, data, and installation art, thereby promoting the development of the industrial ecosystem.
In addition to AI paintings and light shows, experience areas have also been set up, where visitors can use their imaginations to generate images and print them as souvenirs, as well as interact with an omni-perception pre-trainer model.

Sun Lingyun, vice dean of the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University, cited the exhibition as pioneering after visiting it. He said that the valley lives up to its innovative reputation and has achieved a lot in a short time.
Next-generation AI is an industry of the future. In recent years, OVC has established a slew of AI research institutes and computing centers, with the core AI industrial scale and related company number accounting for over 80 percent and nearly 70 percent of Wuhan's total.
